Here are some events and venues of the festivals.

Gastroblues Festival
Date: the first week of July, every year
one of the most significant Gastroblues festivals in Middle-Europe
We have been awaiting the lovers of blues, jazz, rock, gastronomy and wines for more than 16 years in Paks. On the concert of this one-week series of programmes the gastronomy  – and music lovers are pampered by music as well as food – and drink specialities.

National Siller Festival
Wine-producing dates back long in our town. The Sárgödör Square embraced by the press-houses hosts this event. The Siller wine of Paks deserved its reputation in the last century when the producers from Paks supplied many restaurants in Budapest with it. This event represents the old tricks of Siller-making and the possibilities of wine-growing in the 20th century. On this day the visitors can taste the siller, the pecularity of the old Paks.

Ecumenical Blessing of New Wine on Martin’s Day
According to the traditions Martin’s day was the day of ’servant acquiring’, grazing and closing of the economic year. On Martin’s day the new wine was blessed, the wine-growers and producers were commemorated. This old tradition has been revived for 7 years in Paks, in Sárgödör Square, every year in November.
