The River Danube: real angling-paradise, varied water sports facilities

The Danube is the most international river in the world; it crosses 10 countries, its drainage area touches seven more countries. Nevertheless, it is impossible to express with only data what this wonderful river really means to us.
 In our homeland, Paks, the river is an important part of our everyday life: maybe there is not a person in Paks who does not have a nice memory of it. And, it is no wonder, because the Danube offers a wide range of entertainment facilities: the gently sloping green banks are perfectly suitable for angling and bathing; on the slowly billowing waves you can do many watersports from jet skiing and speedboating to water-skiing and rowing.
